Despite feeling a sense of visceral loss for the previous warm summer and cheerful spring, I’m gradually come to embrace the dark winter months in rainy Vancouver. Although I initially experienced a bout of winter blues, I’m begin to feel inspired to create something special that captures the essence of the season.
For me, cocooning is about finding comfort and warmth during the winter months. It’s like wrapping yourself up in a cozy blanket and forgetting about the cold and worries of the world. But it’s also a time to slow down and reflect, to take a break from the busyness of everyday life.
It’s like you’re taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of the season, to soak in the ambiance of the chilly and rainy weather. And as I do, I can look forward to the rebirth that comes with springtime – a chance for new growth and endless possibilities.
It is a symbol of hope and creativity, a reminder that even in the darkest of seasons, there’s always something beautiful waiting to emerge.
